So, I was posted at my laptop one day, about 6 months or so into building my internet business. Like a good boy I was working on my backlinking, my SEO tasks, and posting another niche website. I think it was my 17th or 18th website. I had it going on! I had sites on dog training, bed wetting, dieting, muscle building, ADHD, irritable bowel syndrome and on and on.
I was just completing putting my affiliate links in the Clickbank products and then it hit me ? why? How did I believe the new site would get me money? Because, at that instant (I believe it might have been the first time I literally stopped and considerred that for a minute) I realized not any of the other 17 had earned me any money! So why would I assume this one would? I also realized that I thought the same thing about #16, #15, #14, and so on.
As if that wasn?t distressing enough, it also hit me that I hadn?t accomplished any of my SEO tasks on the first 10 sites in a month. They were promptly languishing as I was too restless moving on to the next awesome thing.
Hence, needless to say, I wasn?t enjoying a good night!
As a rule, I?m a very motivated person and have been a businessperson for over 25 years and have always been, more or less, successful at anything I put my mind to. So how come is this not bringing in money?
When I stepped back and genuinely reviewed what I had been doing I quickly realized that I was not putting all that business experience to work! I was distressed from a common internet marketing ailment ? INFORMATION OVERLOAD! I substituted activity for productivity! Just making sure you?re working on something doesn?t imply you?re doing the right thing.
So I made the choice, basically, to start again. To sit down and map out a plan. I would draw up, dare I say it, a business plan!

Don?t assume you understand it all! ? This could be the most essential trait. Prosperous Internet Marketers have an extraordinary willingness to constantly acquire information and be trained so that they can be successful in their business.
I dumped almost all of my sites and commenced concentrating on just a few areas and now I?m earning my money online! It?s not as hard as you assume. It just takes discipline. You too can become a profitable Internet Marketer by learning and adopting these basic principles.
